The historical trading routes sailed between Oman and Tanzania can be traced back hundreds of years prior to Ibn Battuta's travel there in 1330.
All of our single origin plantation choices have been led by the history and stories of the maritime Spice Route, and countries who traded with fragrant and exotic goods hundreds of years ago.

Rooted in craft and culture, Mirzam sources single-origin cocoa beans from historic trading locations such as India, Vietnam, Madagascar, Indonesia, and Ghana—regions that once played a central role in the exchange of exotic spices and goods.
