Aseeda: Slowly cooked pumpkin, together with delicious cardamom, saffron, and ghee – a treasured, traditional Emirati recipe. Highlighting this delicious signature Emirati dessert, we welcome all to share, indulge & enjoy from February 2024; Feb 23 – March 3.
Across the UAE, a collection of creative food makers have been hard at work developing new recipes using the caramelised flavours, textures & pumpkins in season locally.
Some very close to the OG aseeda (like Aseeda Bobar Pie) and others who’ve taken a modernist approach and rebuilt the dessert entirely!
