Aseeda Chocolate Terrine Cake

Our most decadent chocolate creation ever, the Chocolate Terrine Cake. This  indulgent version is crafted using a generous proportion of our top-selling Aseeda White Chocolate (caramelised and infused with cardamom).

This terrine cake is inspired by Mirzam’s time in Tokyo, where we have tasted a chocolate terrine for the first time,  sprinkled with premium sea salt. Back in the days of celestial navigation the dhows sailed, following the stars, along the Spice Route through Asia and to the lush southern tip of Japan, where many spices were blossoming in its’ tropical climate. Our very own Mirzam team has exhibited our chocolate in Japan a few times already, and has the greatest respect for the passion, detail, finess and handwork of the masters of chocolate who create breathtaking recipes.

Mirzam’s creation is gluten free; really, really full of chocolate; very creamy and gooey, and can be eaten 3 different ways:

• Cold, as a chocolate ganache
• Hot, as a mountain lava cake
• At room temperature, as a terrine (we recommend this option)

To serve, heat up a knife under very hot water, pat dry and slice into 2cm thick portions. Sprinkle a tiny pinch of salt, or with your choice of blend of spices.

Waiting time for a Terrine Chocolate Cake is approx. 7 days: we only produce 20 terrines a day and all of our cakes are carefully hand packed, sealed with golden wax and stamped with our mascot, the dhow.

The blend of your choice of spices is meticulously prepared and delicately hand packed with the terrine.
