In India, growing cacao is a reasonable new endeavor – and still fairly few farmers are producing the standard of beans for use by artisan chocolate makers focused on flavor. These beans however, are exceptional.
Tasting nearly as though there were added spices, this naturally warm and aromatic origin is delicious. At our chocolate making space in Alserkal Avenue, we use this for creating our dark hot chocolate. We highly recommend it!
All of our single origin plantation choices have been led by the history and stories of the maritime Spice Route, and countries who traded with fragrant and exotic goods hundreds of years ago.
