ABOUT WORKING WITH MIRZAM

Mirzam is a bean to bar chocolate making space, based in Al Quoz, in the Alserkal Avenue arts and cultural district. We work hard to make delicious, real chocolate, using only the highest quality cocoa beans that we can find.

As a small team of chocolate makers, we look for people who above all else understand the importance of team-work, quality, creativity and passion. Our team members are ambitious, multi-national, and committed to a sustainable world – very much like the city we are based in.

SALES COORDINATOR

Do you love building strong partnerships, and making people happy? We are looking for a sales coordinator who is just as passionate about ‘real chocolate’ as our chocolate making team is, and can’t wait to share our bars of chocolate with the rest of the city.

A day in the life of the Mirzam Sales Coordinator would see you ensuring all the daily deliveries are beautifully prepared and ready to go, a couple of meetings with new customers and finally, a chocolate tasting session for a corporate group. In between your meetings, you will have discussed your marketing requirements for the upcoming chocolate collection – and organised some new items to be included in the catalogue.

Requirements: 2-4 years of experience, immaculate spoken and written communication skills (ideally in English and Arabic), exposure to the world of corporate procurement and a drivers license.

PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Are making chocolate and managing a happy team your two most favourite things?

We are looking for a production coordinator, to join our small team of chocolate makers in Dubai – working to craft chocolate from bean to bar. This is a busy, multi-tasking role that requires a person who in equal measures can manage production paperwork and administration, and be creative with recipe testing.

A day in the life of the Production Coordinator would see you meeting with your team to ensure HACCP documentation is tip top, followed by forecasting your production activities for the upcoming four weeks – working alongside the purchasing manager, stores manager and quality controller to update documentation accordingly.

Requirements: 2-4 years of production experience, immaculate spoken and written communication skills (English), strong exposure to the world of chocolate, understanding of quality control, recipe development and production documentation. Bean to bar chocolate training provided.
